You can rent two Thars from us in Goa, both automatic: the Mahindra Thar, a diesel with 4 seats, from ₹3,100 a day, and the Thar Roxx, a petrol with 5 seats, from ₹4,200 a day. Both are hard tops; we do not rent the soft-top Thar. Kilometres are unlimited inside Goa, and you drive the car yourself.

Prices are per day on a 4-day rental, for pickups up to 19 December 2026, before GST and extras. Over Christmas and New Year the rates rise to the figures in the last row.
The Roxx: one more seat, one more bag
It costs ₹1,100 a day more than the Thar.
Take the Thar if you are two to four people with light luggage. Take the Roxx if you are five, or if four of you are carrying more than three bags. The Thar runs on diesel, the Roxx on petrol.
If space matters more than the look, the Creta seats 5, takes 5 bags and costs ₹3,000 a day.
Picking it up
At Mopa, pickup runs as a shuttle service: you meet our team at Counter No. 7, in the Meeters and Greeters Area, and your Thar is handed over at our pickup point (how Mopa pickup works). Book online before you travel. Documents, fuel, km and the deposit are the same for every car, and the self-drive page explains them. Off-roading and beach driving are not allowed in either Thar.

How much does a Thar cost per day in Goa?
₹3,100 a day for the Thar and ₹4,200 for the Thar Roxx on a 4-day rental. A one-day rental costs more per day: ₹5,000 for the Thar and ₹6,500 for the Roxx.
Can I drive the Thar on the beach?
No. Driving on Goa's beaches is against the law, and off-roading is banned in our terms. Both can mean a police fine and a cleaning charge from us.
Is fuel included in the Thar rental?
No. You get the car with a certain fuel level and return it with the same level.
